The Company

LACKFA Isolierstoff GmbH & Co. KG, also known as “LACKFA” for short, was founded in 1945.

The initial products produced by the company were paints, varnishes and paint strippers.

The most well-known product at the time was the white emulsion paint “ALSTERPRACHT”.

In an effort to find new products in the early fifties,  dispersion-based anti-drumming compounds for the damping of structure-borne noise were produced. This series went by the name of PHONKILLER^®, which was optimised over time and further developed.

The LACKFA spray cork followed, which was a jointlessly sprayable insulation compound for the protection against thermal and acoustic factors. Due to fire safety, this granulated and bound cork was eventually prohibited for structural use and vehicle construction.

The company ownership changed hands in the sixties, and the product variety was further expanded at the same time.

From this point forward, LACKFA focused on formulating polyurethane systems under the brand name “LAMOLTAN^®”.
The production of simple low pressure machines for pouring and spraying polyurethane foams was also advanced during this time.
Over the years, we initially built medium pressure machines based on demand. Today, the company produces high pressure machines (HD-2).

A lot of effort was put into the development of two-component polyurethane systems, yielding two high-quality systems that are now used worldwide. Our experience has demonstrated that top quality, reliability and successful customer retention are the recipe to success.
Our business partners expect a lot from us as formulators and suppliers, and rightfully so.
